Knowing that I’m helping people navigate options that could change the trajectory of their life is exciting and fulfilling.

What inspired you to enter a career in education?
I’ve been a helper and a bookworm for as long as I can remember. A career in education gave me a way to marry these two traits and, as a huge bonus, make a difference in hundreds of lives over the years.

Who was your most memorable teacher or what was your most impactful educational experience and why?
My most memorable educator was my high school counselor, Ms. Bryant. She took time to get to know me, never accepted any excuses, and went out of her way to make sure I knew all my options for life after high school.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, you can find me browsing the aisles of my favorite home décor stores or hanging out with my family.
